About FSG

Flesh Skin Grafix Tattoo and Body Piercing aka FSG Tattoo has been doing fine American tattoos since 1994. I opened my shop at the urging of my older brother Larry who was terminally ill. In a visit to Larry I mentioned that I was thinking about opening a tattoo shop. Larry said “Don’t think about it, Do it” as he recalled missed opportunities of things he wanted to accomplish though found himself out of time due to his illness. The day I got back from our visit I rented a building and put my shop together. I opened on June 15th 1994, 25 years ago.

Our artists will create custom tattoo designs or work off the wall. We are a street shop, which means we take walk-ins and create art on the spot. However, if you have an idea in mind and have reference material bringing that in will help us better understand what you are looking for. Also, we suggest setting appointments for consultations and artwork that requires preparation. We do not take appointments over the phone or quote prices. We require cash deposits for artwork and appointments.

Our artists are trained in Prevention of Disease Transmission in Tattooing by the Alliance of Professional Tattooists. Flesh Skin Grafix Tattoo has been leading the way in safe tattooing and body piercing since 1994. Our shop is clean, comfortable and air-conditioned. We offer ample off-street parking and we are on the main drag of Imperial Beach at Palm Ave. and Florida St.

FSG’s policy is that there are no children under 15 years of age allowed in the shop and no pets are permitted. Anyone under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol are not welcome in the shop and will be asked to leave.
